Christ is risen!
We are writing this report after the funeral of the Holy Father, grateful for His fatherhood and example of mercy. It is especially significant for us, because a few days ago we celebrated the second anniversary of our social kitchen in Kherson, which was supported by the Holy Father. The lives of residents of the South, especially the Kherson region, are becoming unbearable – drones are “hanging” tightly over the city.
As you already know from my stories, in addition to projects to support the viability of the civilian population, we also conduct social initiatives. One of the important areas is the evacuation and “social taxi” service, which we implement together with the NGO “Strong Because Free”.
The situation this week was quite tense: our transport was damaged by an enemy drone, fortunately, no one was injured. I sincerely thank the volunteers who, risking their own lives, save those who are in need the most. This month we have transported more than 128 people from dangerous places.
This week we also responded to numerous requests from the military: we donated a washing machine for the training center, clothing, and other necessary items to be distributed among brigades in the Donetsk region.
