Christ rose from the dead!
On these festive days we visited locations that had suffered as a result of the invasion of the Russian Federation troops in the vicinity of Makarov and Borodianka (50-70 km from Fastów). There is a family in Dmytriwka whose house has been badly damaged as a result of shelling and looting – they have had no electricity since February 25 up until today. They told us how they were waiting for Easter, seeing their special hope in Christ’s resurrection.
By sharing these material gifts, we receive in return, from the people to whom we go with the ministry, a special gift of hope. The people who are returning to their homes are themselves a great sign – just like storks in the spring return to their nests – and do not lose the will to continue to build their own lives, waiting with hope for the gift of peace for which we all pray together.
Dear friends! Thank you all for your support, and this time I would like to highlight: Caritas-Spes of the Mukaczew diocese, Charity Freta Zupa na Monciaku, the charity organization “We and the orphaned children” («Ми та Діти-Сироти»), Orla Straż – Eaglewatch, 69th Scout Troop “Carpe diem” from Bialystok, our volunteer Anastasia Kryńska together with the Roman Catholic parish of St. Józef in Niemorów and foundations of the Podolia community. Thanks to you, we have prepared over a thousand Easter gifts that will reach those in need today!
