Sometimes reports about the losses of Ukraine in terms of killed and wounded among the military or civilians are perceived as commonplace – an indispensable and terrible attribute of war. But these are real tragedies, tears and pain, broken dreams and plans for life. These days, together with our friends from Bakhmut, who have been living in our center with their children since the beginning of the full-scale war, we are painfully experiencing the tragedy of Mrs. Oksana, who lost her husband a few days ago… We are now waiting for guests who are evacuating from Bakhmut and its surroundings.

In our city, as well as in other cities, the number of forcibly resettled people is increasing! Every day we cooperate with these families, providing them with support. This week, on Thursday, 300 families received targeted humanitarian aid. Yesterday was International Youth Day and we celebrated it in Borodyanka, we organized a charitable humanitarian event for youth and children and, together with the San Angelo coffee shop, we treated everyone with the tastiest burgers and hot dogs free of charge. This week, we sent humanitarian aid to the East for military units and Chernihiv region – 1090 packages (7200 kg).

We continue the project of restoring our wounded land – we cover the houses of families and single, elderly people affected by artillery shelling. Cordial thanks to the Eagle Guard Charitable Foundation,

Our friends from Charytatywni Freta and the Charytatywni Foundation traditionally hold the fair of St. Hyacinth from August 13-15 at the Dominicans Monastery on Freta Street. Those who are in Warsaw we invite to serve and support our Friends – this is also support for our Center. We sincerely thank all our Friends and the Volunteers who find the time and energy for the service and the charity work.
