Praised be Jesus Christ!
Today we remember Saint Hyacinth, who is the patron saint of Kyiv, we pray and ask for his intercession.
For the second week, together with the partners of the Good Brother Charitable Foundation, we are accompanying 43 children from the city of Myrnograd, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region, who were evacuated. And while their parents are looking for a “new home”, the “Great Family” charity camp was organized for the children, which aims to provide comprehensive psychological support for children affected by the war. This time is important, so their life has acquired new shades and maybe even colors. The children share: “We can finally sleep more peacefully, be with our peers, open up to each other, do sports, dance.” Such habitual actions that help children recover. The children are accompanied by highly qualified specialists, coaches and psychologists from Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Lviv. Author’s program of the psychologist Ms. Tatyana Davydovska shows an efficient result. Today, the children also visited our church and the San Angelo coffee shop, where we treated the children with pizza and delicious dishes. It was nice to hear that it was up to the children to come to the church to pray and light candles for the living and deceased loved ones, whom they carry in their hearts. This idea and short prayer somehow spoke in a special way, their requests were not at all childish, but already so adult..
This week, our bakery in Kherson doubled the baking of bread, which is so necessary for the residents of the village of Antonivka. Here I want to mention St. Hyacinth once again. There was such a case that people had all their grain spoiled and the saint prayed and this grain was saved. That’s why, according to tradition in memory of St. Hyacinth, we consecrate the ears of corn. Bread is the foundation of our reality and in our families we consume it often, it is a sign of well-being and comfort for each of us. Today we ask Saint Hyacinth to intercede for our country so that there are no places and families where there is a lack of bread…
This week we sent help to the military at their request – these are beds and other necessary things to make their daily lives easier. Thank you to everyone who is with us in this difficult time, thank you to Charytatywni Freta and Fundacja Charytatywni, who brought humanitarian aid to Ukraine this week. We wrap them in prayer today, when they have their annual fair in Warsaw, we wish them strength and good meetings for those who will celebrate with them. Thank you to our volunteers who sacrificially accompanied the children who were evacuated from Donetsk region. May the Lord reward you for your work and conscientiousness.
I remember in prayer everyone who reads this report and befriends us. We bring victory closer, we befriend those who are weaker.
