Praised be Jesus Christ!

In these cold days, many people need protection from the cold, especially in the regions where intense shelling continues. Yesterday morning, the enemy again attacked Kherson, in particular the center and the Shumen district, where our social kitchen operates. That is why we have begun preparations for the opening of heating points based on our social project. The necessary items have already been delivered to Kherson, and in the coming days we will begin to equip the heating points.

We are sincerely grateful to our friends from “Charitables Freta” foundation for organizing a fundraiser during the Christmas fair, which took place last Sunday in Warsaw. Thanks to this initiative, we managed to collect over 48 thousand zlotys. These funds will be used to support the families of the deceased, including Christmas gifts for them. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who joined the event, as well as to everyone who supported us with their donations and kind hearts.

The most urgent need for the residents of the front-line Kherson remains the provision of basic living conditions. We will be grateful for every donation and any form of assistance. At the moment, blankets and socks for the elderly are especially needed. We are receiving requests from several districts and are planning a centralized purchase of necessary items to support people during this difficult period.

In part of the city, heating has already been restored, but many households remain without electricity due to shelling, which makes it impossible to even cook.

We express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Krzysztof from Rajcza for the humanitarian aid delivered. We also thank our Polish partners for their continued support and for the opportunity to present our experience in the European environment.

This week, I had the honor of participating in the European summit in Brussels dedicated to the protection of Ukrainian children. I thank my European partners for the invitation to participate as a speaker and the opportunity to share our experience in helping children. Among the participants were well-known human rights defenders and representatives of international organizations. Children should not wait, because their childhood is now. We must do everything possible to ensure that they are protected – especially those who study in shelters, have lost relatives or have been forcibly removed from Ukraine. Speaking about our children and acting for them is a shared responsibility of each of us.

With prayers
