Praised be Jesus Christ!
We would like to start this report with the information we receive daily from Kherson. The city is under heavy enemy shelling. There is no heat, no water, and no electricity. All of this is due to heavy enemy shelling. It hurts, because last week we ourselves experienced enemy attacks. As in many cities in Ukraine, there are power outages, but today our heart aches for Kherson. That is why in the near future we plan to open heating places at our locations in Kherson — for people who need heat here and now. We are working on this together with our volunteers and the military administration in Kherson.
And at the same time, there was a lot of light today.
Saint Nicholas came to our children. Due to the difficult situation, he was unable to visit last week, but Nicholas always comes. The children felt joy, warmth, and security. We sincerely thank everyone who supported, organized, cared for, and was there.
Thanks to all the benefactors and friends who collected and purchased gifts for children: “Charitable Foundation” “Charitables Freta” “XENIA Association” We sincerely thank the Kozak Sewing Factory for financial assistance in purchasing gift backpacks for children. Thank you, Mateusz Trynda and Fundacja Sióstr św. Dominika ! Special thanks to the Humanitarian Nova Poshta for constant partnership, financial support and wise logistics and fast delivery at your expense for the military and children., as well as Paleolithic, post-academic pastoral care, Mr. Witold Nowacki, Liliia Sysoliatina, all the friends and everyone who helped and supported. Thanks to each of you.
Today, a pre-Christmas meeting with the mothers of the fallen defenders who came to us also took place. We conceived this meeting as a resource – for those mothers who are already in our rehabilitation programs. It was important that it was not just a meeting, but a space of support, presence and warmth. We sincerely thank Ms. Irena Saszko OV for the lecture.
We thank the band “Dva-Try”, Herman Klymenko, Zakhar and Maria for performing Ukrainian folk music.
We thank our San Angelo cafe for the delicious dishes.
Special thanks to the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine, Mr. Piotr Łukasiewicz and Ms. Katarzyna Kalinowska. It was thanks to the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv that this meeting became possible. Thank you for your closeness, care and memory of us.
We also thank everyone who supports our defenders: for the oak briquettes that we are handing over to the military, for the thermal underwear that is already leaving for Kherson, and for taking care of those who are defending Ukraine today. We sincerely thank you!
May God protect you!
With prayers
