Praised be Jesus Christ!

We have begun the period of Great Lent, a time of conversion and reconciliation with God, but also of meetings and connections between us. We read from the prophet Isaiah: “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5 During this great fast, we ask through the wounds of Christ and his blood, that he heal the wounds of our land and our people, so that we may receive peace through him. Almost two years of full-scale war, and the wounds and suffering are increasing every time.

We meet people every day and as much as we can, we help with their wounds. We receive hundreds of e-mails and requests for help every day. This week, we sent help to the needy in Chernihiv region, Kyiv region, and Kharkiv region, including warm things, food, and gifts for children from large families and children with disabilities. Thanks to the Paleolithic community from Poznań, to Mr. Witold and Krzysztof.

Responding to the request of our partners of the NGO “Volunteer 68”, who help people with limited mobility and palliative care in Kharkiv, this week we sent them folding beds that will serve those forcibly displaced from the Kupyansk area. Thank you for paying for the delivery Humanitarian Nova Poshta.

Villages of Kyiv region destroyed after the occupation are being restored, this week we brought computer monitors to the village of Andriivka, which will serve children at school, as well as children from needy families. We thank Charytatywni Freta Fundacja Charytatywni who took care that these monitors were delivered to Ukraine. This week, we distributed 1,955 food kits of first necessity (14,100 kg of humanitarian aid).

As you remember, we announced a collection for 200 tourniquets. It remains to collect 70 more, the goal is 37,800 UAH – help us save the lives of military personnel! There are sometimes 2 tourniquets in the first-aid kit, but there should be at least four.
