Praised be Jesus Christ!
In the Gospel, Jesus Christ gives an order to the disciples to feed the hungry people: “You give them to eat.” The disciples have seven loaves and this is enough for the Lord to feed thousands. One way or another, this Gospel is repeated in our experience in our meetings with other people. Every week, our Foundation’s e-mail receives hundreds of requests, which are pleas for help. Every week we send hundreds of parcels all over Ukraine and for us it is a miracle that the Lord so generously multiplies and blesses. Thank you for the Partnership and payment of delivery, Humanitarian Nova Poshta.
We managed to close the project that we started in the summer. Last August, we took home appliances to the village of Inhulets, which was flooded due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP, and the other day, we have taken 33 refrigerators of the Amica company to the village Zymivnyk, Kherson region. We did not close the entire request and will try to do it later, but people were incredibly happy. We are glad that it improved the quality of their lives even a little.
Thanks to the good deeds of Konsorcjum filantropijne, Partners of Fundacja Charytatywni Charytatywni Freta. Many people from this village unfortunately could not return to their own homes and live with relatives or acquaintances without having “their own corner”, but they dream of their own home. We managed to take away more beds and blankets. Thanks to the good deeds of KPRM Rządowa Agencja Rezerw Strategicznych of Poland.
In Kherson, unfortunately, the situation has worsened due to frequent and intense storms, people are increasingly asking for evacuation, that is why, together with our Partners “Strong because Free”, we save lives every week by continuing our joint project of evacuating people with reduced mobility. Thanks to Mr. Ihor Chorny for his courage and endurance, 60 people were evacuated and transported to safe places in January. The volunteers have traveled 2727 km in difficult and dangerous conditions. We thank Mr. Zygmunt Skolozhinsky for the good nature of the project.
Our friends of “Zupa na Monciaku” visited us this week. Thank you for the humanitarian aid you lovingly brought for Ukraine!
Bright people are visible in “dark times”. We express our gratitude to the MHP, Myroniv Plant for the manufacture of cereals and compound feed, for humanitarian aid in the form of its own production of 1000 liters of fragrant sunflower oil. Oil is a very valuable and precious product, which we add to humanitarian kits mainly for the less mobile and those in need. I am grateful for the partnership and social responsibility of MHP-Myroniv Poultry Farm for the chicken we received recently.
This week, unfortunately, we cannot yet close the collection for the tourniquets. Let’s try to do it together. The goal is 150 tourniquets, it remains to collect 34680.
Have a peaceful night.
With prayer
Fr. Mykhailo Romaniv OP
