Praised be Jesus Christ!
This week is exceptional because it is especially connected with the pilgrimage that we experience on the way to the All-Ukrainian Sanctuary in Berdychiv. These days are valuable because they are very necessary for spiritual renewal, but also for carrying everyone in our hearts, remembering our soldiers, wounded, crippled and all people who are homeless, tired, burdened or oppressed. All our friends who cannot meet their relatives.
I pray at this time for all our volunteers, in particular those who are now in danger, those in Kherson, Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, who receive those who have to flee from the war. I also pray for our Friends and Benefactors who remember us, for everyone who shares our service in any way.
Our work continues, humanitarian aid was sent to our military this week. Targeted humanitarian aid was sent to forcibly displaced people from the Kherson region, who live in Odesa. Thank you for the financial support of Humanitarian New Post, which delivered this aid to the needy at its own expense.
We take care of the mental and physical health of our Volunteers. This week the second group of volunteers who rested in the Carpathians returned. I hope that this time spent in the picturesque Carpathians will give each of them strength and necessary resources.
A few days ago, 5 of our families who are raising 3 or more children, as well as families where a child with a disability is being raised, as well as a family whose relatives are in the occupation, returned from France. A total of 21 people, including 15 children, had a unique opportunity to recover on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the city of Erquy, France. We would like to thank our volunteer Ms. Tetyana Majevska, who took care of our children and coordinated this vacation. Many thanks to France, to our Benefactors “Collectif Stade Lamballais-Ukraine” for an unforgettable vacation for our children.
The children of the House of Hope, from Korotychi, visited our Center for several days. We thank the sisters Kamila Frydryszewska and sister Renata for their visits and participation in our mission.
The collection for fire extinguishers was quickly closed, thanks to everyone who contributed so selflessly. We bought 200 fire extinguishers, we thank our Parishioners, Fastiv Church, who held a fair last Sunday at a charity “garage sale” and helped to increase the amount of humanitarian aid for the village. Antonivka, in the Kherson region.
The social laundry in Kherson, which we opened and consecrated last week in Kherson, has already started working these days. Thank you to everyone who supports our humanitarian missions for the suffering country.
I trust God for the next week of our lives and pray for a just peace for Ukraine.
