Praised be Jesus Christ!

This year’s celebration of Corpus Christi was exceptional for us. This uniqueness comes not only from the strong experience of Christ’s suffering in His Body, which is the Church, but also from the mystery of the Great Change, because here the bread turns into Body and wine into Blood – the Sacrifice of Salvation and food for Eternal Life, and in our service we experience the mystery of human love and self-sacrifice, inspired by the love of the Lord Jesus for us, which bears abundant fruit. This time, when we walked in procession with the Blessed Sacrament, we relived the words of St. Peter: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (Jn 6:68). Indeed, our place with Jesus, the Son of David, was wonderfully shown by the altars of this year’s procession: one – prepared by the children of the House of St. Martin and the children from Donbas, who had to leave their homeland – regardless of the large number of deadly weapons, bears the Holy Face of the Savior full of goodness; the second altar shows the service of our Center and the volunteers who serve and help those in need – among the pallets of loads of food delivered to Chernihiv, Donbass and the vicinity of Borodianka (about 11 tons), the One who unites and strengthens us at this difficult time was in the highest place!

Today we were in Zahalce, where several modular buildings have already been erected, and this time we have built another four, where ten children and their families will find shelter. Tomorrow we will take the furniture there to make it a little easier for these families to arrange their lives… This wonderful work is being carried out with the active participation of Minister Michał Dworczyk – the President of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Government Strategic Reserves Agency! We thank the company “Energia” – Mr. Aleksandr Wołyniec and Mr. Wadim Podhornow for their help in the transportation and Mr. Włodzimierz Iwanczenko for logistics. We would also like to thank the breweries “Zibert” in the person of Mrs. Luba Onyszczuk for providing the premises for a warehouse for humanitarian aid!

We would like to thank the Mobile Field Hospitals Fund for 1150 kilograms of food supplements for children, which will help the convalescence of children and the injured.

I am reporting a great need in roofing materials – we have over 50 houses in line that need a roof, but our financial possibilities are very limited. Therefore, I am asking for help in dealing with this need!
