Praised be Jesus Christ!

The last days were filled with many meetings with the children on the occasion of their holiday. We organized picnics in Makarów and in the villages of Zahal’tsi and Nowa Buda. These areas were heavily bombed during the occupation. Hundreds of houses were completely destroyed and others were seriously damaged.

Most of the children who took part in our picnics survived the invasion of the occupiers. In these three places, over 700 children celebrated the return to normalcy and the culmination of each meeting was the drawing of the main prizes in the form of tablets funded by the wife of the President of the Republic of Poland, Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda. During this difficult time for Ukraine, during a few days of joint celebration, not only children’s dreams were coming true. We dreamed about an ice cream machine for a long time and in the last few days it has come true. Moreover, we also got a machine for frozen juices. The joy of the children holding the Italian ice cream cones in their hands was moving.

Thank you for gifts to the Polish Embassy in Kiev, for a lot of games, to Mr. Filip from the company Granna, Charitable Foundation and Charytatywni Freta for the ice cream machine, for the sweets to the Orla Straż Foundation – EaglewatchOrla and PZU Україна, Dominican Sisters Missionaries of Jesus and Mary from Bielsko Biała with parishioners as well as parishioners of Sisters of Jesus from Warsaw, Mrs. Malgorzacie from Warsaw.

We continue our ministry to the most needy, especially in those places where food is most scarce, that is, in the vicinity of Borodianka, Chernihiv and Ochtyrka. Last week, we delivered 2,311 parcels. They were distributed thanks to the support of the Polish Government Strategic Reserves Agency. We would like to express our special thanks to Minister Michał Dworczyk, Head of the Chancellery of the Council of Ministers.

We constantly help in rebuilding the houses that we are able to save. We delivered slate and anduline to 15 houses to Makarów, Sytniak, Niżiłowicz, Kałyniwka, Naliwajiwka. All this took place thanks to the constant care of Mrs. Oksana Gierasimenko for all those in need.

We delivered roofing to one of the houses in the village of Sytniak where a man was killed by a bomb. His family tearfully thanked us for not forgetting them.

Dear Friends, we are still looking for washing machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, kettles, bread machines for people who suffered during the occupation. Partners and volunteers are invited to cooperate for the Victory over the atrocities of war. Thank you all for all your support and prayers.
