Dear friends!
After 36 hours of suspension of activity due to the limitations of martial law, today we have returned to our ordinary activity during the wartime. Today we helped pensioners, displaced persons, families with many children and people with disabilities. Today we issued 620 food parcels and about 150 people got medication from our pharmacy point.
With the help of the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Mrs. Monika Kapa-Cichocka and Mr. Paweł Stępnia, 53 people were able to go to Poland today.
There is an open “clothes bank” for all those in need. Our Center gathers numerous volunteers who want to work in various directions of our charitable service. Today about 70 people have gathered. The oldest of the volunteers is 77 years old – she is Mrs. Zofia Kunicka, mother of our brother Fr. Paweł Kunicki, OP.
We thank all our benefactors and donors, today especially the Ukrainian Educational Foundation for the food and hygiene products they sent, as well as Szymon Waszczyn Bolix SA and Mr. Roman, who came to us late this evening with humanitarian aid.
