The beginning of spring always means some new plans and hopes. It is also a time of recovery, because we are going through Great Lent. Somewhere from the fall of 2023, we were looking for a place that could serve as a bakery in the city of Kherson. We talked with volunteer friends, but the Lord does everything in his time through the right people who stand on the road. We are grateful to our friends who take care of our affairs, Mr. Bartoś Cichocki and his wife, Charytatywni Freta, Fundacja Charytatywni and Frans van der Heijdt. Although we are still collecting funds, and the equipment has been borrowed, yesterday we already baked the first bread and pastry and treated those in need.
This week, we distributed 2,303 food packages, 18,845 kg of humanitarian aid. Thank you, all Friends who remember us and care, thank you for your care.
We continue the collection for 200 tourniquets, only 24,350 UAH remain. We also collect candles, power banks, dry showers, household chemicals, generators, flashlights, batteries, over-the-counter medicines, and household items that are in good condition and do not need repair. We join forces to be close to those who are weaker.
