Christ is risen!
These Easter days for all of us are full of new hope, which is marked by the victory of Christ over death. Despite the shelling and various difficulties, we believe with all our hearts that where there is love and kindness, there is the Lord. We are glad that our social bakery in Kherson is “gaining momentum”, many people and organizations turn to us for bread, which is now distributed daily in several locations of the city. Our social kitchen also works, in March it provided 15,303 meals for the long-suffering citizens of Kherson.
This week, we delivered humanitarian aid to those in need in Kyiv region, and also provided humanitarian aid to families of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, persons over 80 and persons with limited mobility in Fastiv.
In our joint project on the medical transfer of veterans of the Armed Forces, which we are conducting together with our partners, “Wings of Victory” and Mrs. Viktoriia Kramarenko, in March we provided the complex assistance in the transportation of 138 veterans. Also, the project is developing dynamically thanks to the case solutions developed according to the requests of the director of the Charitable Fund, Mrs. Viktoriia, our veterans, as part of the military rehabilitation project, have the opportunity to swim, visit hippotherapy and a kinesiotherapy office. The veterans are accompanied by experienced specialists in all areas of rehabilitation.
Despite the constant shelling, residents of de-occupied areas in Kharkiv and Kherson regions are working in their gardens and homesteads these spring days, we are glad that we will be able to send vegetable seeds to them in the coming days. Our thanks go to the director of the XENIA Association Foundation, Mrs. Agnieszka Tombinska.
This week, we distributed 1,337 food kits and 13,100 kg of humanitarian aid to victims of Russian military aggression. Thank you for supporting us, our Benefactors, Friends and Volunteers.
