Even though alarms sounded during the night, fatigue takes its toll – we didn’t hear them at all. This morning we managed to send 108 people to Poland, to the beautiful institution in Korbielów, where the great father Krzysztof Ruszel is the supervisor. Our group is already on the border.
Today, more than 95 people have stayed in our Center for accommodation, waiting for tomorrow’s evacuation.
We distributed humanitarian aid today. We distributed 300 packages to those in need, we delivered 3 tons of food for a psychiatric hospital in Glewasze near Kiev. We also brought food for 130 grandmothers from a nursing home and for 30 medics who work in Marchaliwka, which was bombed yesterday. Tired and happy, we would like to thank our volunteers and friends from various cities of Ukraine and from abroad for the fact that we can be together in these difficult times, do good and serve the needy.
Our friends from Lviv brought us another batch of help, especially thanks for the food for children, which is now worth its weight in gold!
