Today, June 1, is the Children’s Protection Day. It has always been an important day for us, we have organized a big celebration near our Center, but now more than ever, we understand what it means to protect children. So there is a lack of the normality of such everyday life, stress, anxiety, “childhood is being stolen.”

Today we are in Borodyanka, a town in the Kyiv region, which was so badly affected by the war and which has become our home. We have met so many familiar friends and volunteers who are now rebuilding the city and bringing it back to life. Children and families met in the city park. There was a lot of laughter and gifts, we treated the children with hot dogs, cotton candy, cold drinks, ice cream, attractions, a win-win lottery, valuable gifts – more than 500 children’s smiles and good emotions were given to the smallest and defenseless children! Mrs. Lyudmila Boyko, who was in charge of the humanitarian headquarters of Borodyanka Region at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, told me: “Father, look how many happy children there are because you came to us.”

We would like to thank the Charitables and Charitable Freta Foundations for their help in organizing and holding the charity holiday, the director of the Siebert Brewery, Mrs. Lyubov Onyshchuk, who gave the children sweet drinks, our volunteers for animation, and friends who helped collect donations for valuable gifts for children.

This week, we sent humanitarian aid to Odessa, where forcibly displaced families from the Kherson Region live, and to the Chernihiv Region, and we supported our Defenders!
