Praised be Jesus Christ!
First of all, I want to thank everyone who joined the collection for oak briquettes for our defenders in the Kherson direction.
This week we were in Kherson and gave away everything we had. Everything went away in one day — the weather changed dramatically, it is very cold near the water.
Our soldiers need warmth in different places and locations, and we are doing everything possible to support them.
We are already collecting and delivering everything necessary for the winter period:
• warm socks;
• flashlights (already coming from Poland);
• chemical heating pads;
• thermal underwear of our own sewing;
• warm sleeping bags.
In the near future, we will ship what our girls have already sewn. We are also delivering medicines, including antiviral ones. I am writing this for those who want to support — thank you for closing the collection so quickly together! The briquettes have already been ordered and will be in Kherson on Wednesday. Thank you for helping and not leaving our warriors alone! ![]()
Thank you for your concern ![]()
Today’s night in the Kyiv region was not easy. Many of you wrote words of support – it is very valuable. We are again forced to rearrange our entire lives: we work on generators, prepare gas cylinders, organize 200 dinners for the social canteen in Fastiv. All this requires resources.
Many thanks to our employees and volunteers, who have been preparing dinners since 6:00 in the morning so that our oldest can get something warm. There has been no electricity since last night – we will see how long this will last. We also support those who are currently eliminating the consequences of the attacks.
We continue to serve everyone who needs help: the simplest things – charging phones, warm food, water; hot bread; trips to villages around Kherson; humanitarian food kits for the city (today they are being prepared by our volunteers).
At this time, we need to unite, be there for each other, support and care. The simplest, everyday things now have special meaning.
Thank you for being with us.
With prayers
Fr. Mykhailo Romaniv OP
