Praised be Jesus Christ!
Today, Fastiv in the Kyiv region was again heavily shelled. The enemy has been attacking our city for the second week in a row. In one of our centers, window curtains and frames were damaged by the blast wave, but, fortunately, no one died. Important communication and logistics facilities were damaged – the train station and other important facilities were destroyed.
Today, on the day of remembrance of St. Nicholas, given the security situation and the threat of rocket fire, the meeting for children has been postponed – but not canceled. The little ones will definitely have their day of joy. It is very sad and painful that war steals a holiday from children. The support, prayers and warm words that we received have become a great comfort for all of us.
This week, a team of our volunteers went to the front-line Kherson with a humanitarian mission. Despite the constant shelling, we managed to prepare a St. Nicholas holiday for children in shelters, underground. It is very difficult for children to live in such conditions, where the tension does not disappear for a moment. Such a meeting is a reflection of peaceful life, a ray of light in the darkness. In the eyes of the children I saw a smile and some tears. We have been organizing such holidays for children since 2014, because supporting and restoring children during the war is one of the priority areas of our activity.
We are grateful for your generosity and the rapid collection of funds for fuel pellets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We have already purchased everything and handed it over to the Defenders. Thank you even for the smallest donation and to those who helped and supported more than once! These days we are strengthening our defenders as much as possible so that help reaches them as quickly as possible.
Thanks to all the benefactors and friends who collected and purchased gifts for children: “Charitable Foundation”, Association “Ksenia” and “Charitables Freta”. We sincerely thank the First Sewing Factory “Kozak” for financial assistance in purchasing gift backpacks for children. Special gratitude to the “Humanitarian Nova Poshta” for its constant partnership, financial support, wise logistics and fast delivery at your expense for the military and the children.
We also thank Mr. Krzysztof from Wengierska Górka for the sweets for the children, which we received by international delivery to the door – it was a very warm and touching gesture of support. We express our gratitude to Mr. Paweł Bandażewski, who delivered humanitarian aid to us and was on a difficult journey for more than one day. The gifts have already been handed over to children who were forcibly displaced from Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Chernihiv regions. This week, on International Volunteer Day, we thank everyone who has been donating their time and energy since February 2022, supporting those in need. With special tenderness, we remember all the volunteers — in Ukraine and abroad — who remember us, who are close to us with their hearts and share their warmth during this difficult time. Thank you for being you! Together we can do more!
May God protect you!
With prayers
