Praised be Jesus Christ!

Last week we made a trip to Donetsk region, to Konstantynivka. There, we visited the transit shelter, where more than sixty people currently live, and Ms. Svitlana Hrekova works with them. We took food, household chemicals and warm clothes to her wards, which are in great need now. Konstantynivka is located between Torske and Bakhmut. People there really need our help and we will definitely come again to support them.

In the Kharkiv region, we visited the village of Zavody, where we continue to repair and restore houses. This village was subjected to the occupation regime nine times, and there are very few surviving houses left. At the moment, 50 people live in Zavody, fortunately, in the last month, lights have been brought there and it has become a little easier for people. We help the residents of the village with roofing materials, restore windows and doors, buy building materials, putty, and wood. We are insulating some houses so that people can return there, because a large part of people still live in tents.

We thank all our friends for their support and help. To Mr. Ireneusz Gaylun, who brought medical couches, vinyl gloves and medical consumables for dispensaries in the Kyiv Region, in the village of Nalyvaikivka, as well as for a hospital in the front-line area, in the vicinity of Kupyansk. Thank you to the Zupa fund in Monciak for all the gifts we receive from you. Thanks for dry breakfasts for children and for delicious additions to tea, as well as large packages of food that came to our social kitchen in Kherson. We would like to thank the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, and the Strategic Reserves Agency for the help we received today, which will be useful to us.

The cold season has begun and our defenders need heating. We need mats, winter sleeping bags, field stoves, warmers for hands and feet, wet wipes (it’s like a shower for our military). This week, we issued 30 boilers and 5 generators for the needs of the military.

We are appealing to you, dear friends, if you are able to help us in purchasing warm things that will help our military survive this winter, do not delay! Together we can do more! Thank you for being what you are!

With prayers

Fr. Mykhailo Romaniv OP
