Dear friends,
A few words about the next day ofwar on February 25, 2022.The day started uneasily because the children and teachers had to be evacuated to the basements … But such evil as the threat to life can turn out to be good, so it was an occasion to pray together.
Our friends from the Christian Rescue Service in Mariupol have received an invitation to one of the Roman Catholic parishes in Poland, we pray for a safe path for all the children and priests.
Currently, the St. Martin’s Church is open to many Kiev residents seeking refuge. Yesterday we also admitted 2 people and it turned out that they were a foreign doctor and a well-known Ukrainian certified trainer of first aid instructors of the Red Cross Society in Ukraine. Volunteers and older youth from Mariupol were able to master express first aid skills.
Today, we have sheltered 30 new people in the Center. 3 families and 6 children, the youngest boy, Dawid, is only 16 days old, from the village of Zaitsevo (Zhovanka) in the Bakhmut County, Donetsk Oblast.
An amazing sign of compassion and mercy is the fact that families leaving Kiev and other cities nowadays take cats, dogs and various animals with them.
Pray for us because this night, according to official sources, may be difficult.
The dozens of messages and phone calls we receive are an expression of your solidarity and concern for us in this difficult time, we thank you and devote our experiences and prayers for all of you.
We trust God!
