The 27th of February

Dear friends!

The night was turbulent, we had to wake the children up and go down to the basement, the children were crying all the time.

However, today was a very beautiful day, a quiet sunny morning and a solemn Sunday before noon. One of our families and some of our children living in the House of St. Marcin set off to our summer house in the Carpathians to rest and renew their strength in a safe place.

Another wonderful event was the baptism of the youngest refugee David and the birthday of his older brother Gleb, who turned 8 years old. As the apostle wrote in his letter to the Corinthians: “Death has consumed victory! Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
The “mobile camp for children of war” continues today with 26 new guests. Please pray for 15 young people who are in Wasylków and cannot leave because of the danger, but we sincerely hope that tomorrow they will be in our center safely and satiety😉

Sunday was full of special gifts of love from our Friends who organized charity meetings of unity: “Help Ukraine – St. Martin in Fastów “. Thank you very much Charity Freta, Dominicans in Rzeszów and Krakow. I thank the Third Order of the Dominican Seculars in Zwolle, Mr. Frans van der Heijdt, Pete and the whole community.

Today many volunteers turn to us to share our ministry, and this incredible power of love overcomes sin, as we read today in the Gospel: “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart” …
