Today we had the honor to welcome to our Center Fr. James Moore OP, Vicar Provincial of the Western Province of the Holy Name of Jesus in California. Provincial Fr. Christopher Fadok OP, who visited us in September 2022, supported the social housing and shelter project we opened in January 2023 for families displaced by the war.
Today Fr. James met the residents of the shelter, prayed with them and saw with his own eyes the results of the 9 months of work. We presented the icon of the Mother of God, painted on a part of an ammunition box by famous artists Oleksandr Klymenko and Sonya Atlantova. The solidarity of the Catholics in the United States of America, who support us during the war, is for us a sign of hope and God’s blessing.
